KL Rahul Didn’t Accept Lucknow Super Giants Retention Offer for IPL 2025

The IPL 2025 mega auction scenario is getting heated up with every franchise in the process of finalizing their retention list. Some major changes are expected to take place in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.

One of the biggest changes that is expected in the league is that KL Rahul, Lucknow Super Giants skipper, is all set to part ways with the franchise. The player has not accepted the contract of LSG for IPL 2025.

Losing KL Rahul from the squad will be a major loss for the Lucknow Super Giants. He is a skipper and a key player for the team and has been associated with the franchise since its inception in 2022.

After 2 years of successful campaign, Lucknow Super Giants went through a nightmare in the league. They failed to qualify for the playoffs and finished the league stage at the 7th spot with 7 wins and 7 losses.
