Kohli, Rohit chase Dravid's England ODI mark as India begin three-match series

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are both in line for a milestone when India begin their three-match ODI series against England on Tuesday. Rahul Dravid currently tops the list of Indian run-scorers in ODIs in England with 648 runs, and Kohli is close enough to challenge that mark.
Kohli needs 68 runs to go past Dravid's tally. Rohit needs 239. With three matches to come, Kohli has a realistic chance of taking the top spot, while Rohit would need a remarkable series to get there.
India are moving on from the five-match T20I series against England, and the ODI assignment also marks the return of Kohli and Rohit to the national team. The duo's arrival is expected to give the side a boost after disappointing T20I defeats to Ireland and England, with India aiming for a perfect 3-0 scoreline.
Dravid's 648 runs came in 20 ODIs in England between 1996 and 2011, at an average of 38.11, with seven half-centuries. He didn't score a hundred in England. Sachin Tendulkar is next with 639 runs from 17 matches at 39.93, including one century and four fifties, while MS Dhoni has 613 runs in 21 matches at 40.86, with five half-centuries and an unbeaten 78 as his highest score.
Kohli has 581 runs in 16 ODIs in England at an average of 38.73. He has one century and four fifties, with a highest score of 107. Rohit has 410 runs in 10 innings at 58.57, the best average among the leading names, and has two centuries and two fifties, including a career-best 137 not out in England.
Sourav Ganguly is fifth with 565 runs in 16 ODIs, at an average of 35.31, and Yuvraj Singh is next with 498 runs from 14 matches at 41.50. Yuvraj has four fifties, with 72 as his highest score in England.
