New Zealand at ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024: Squad & Key Players
ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled to begin from 3rd October with Bangladesh facing Scotland at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The tournament was scheduled to take place in Bangladesh but due to political turmoil in the country, it has been shifted to United Arab Emirates.
New Zealand women’s T20 cricket team will be in the spotlight again. They have been a strong contender for the trophy as the team has been part of two semi-finals. However, since their previous appearance in the semi-final in 2016, the Kiwis have failed to go beyond the group stage.
The New Zealand Cricket Board has announced a 15-member squad for the women’s World Cup. The team will be led by the veteran Sophie Devine.
