After an embarrassing series defeat against Bangladesh at home, Pakistan is now set to host England for a 3-match Test series. The first Test is scheduled to begin from 7th October at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
Pakistan Cricket Board has announced a 15-member squad for the England tour. In a surprise move, they have retained Shan Masood as the captain of the team. Pakistan cricket team and Masood were under heavy scrutiny after the Bangladesh defeat but the board has shown their trust in him for the upcoming England series.
However, there are some changes that have taken place in the team. Aamer Jamal is making his comeback to the squad after recovering from his back injury. He was last seen playing the red ball format against Australia.

Noman Ali, who was not part of the playing XI against Bangladesh, has retained his position against England. He will be expected to play a crucial role in the spin department for Pakistan.
