Multan Sultans will be seen trying their luck for the Pakistan Super League trophy again in the 10th season this year. In the previous edition of the league, Multan Sultans missed out on lifting the trophy by minor fractions and came out as the runners-up of PSL 2025.

Multan Sultans came into existence in PSL in the 3rd season of the league. Since then they have won the trophy once in 2021 and for the last three consecutive years, Multan Sultans have come out as the runner-ups.

It is an act of disappointment by the team as they reached the 3 finals in the last 3 editions but failed to lift the trophy. Their failure can be used as a means of motivation for the upcoming season of the league.

In the middle order, Multan Sultans will have the combination of Iftikhar Ahmed, Usman Khan, Khushdil Shah, and Tayyab Tahir. Out of the four middle order batters, Usman Khan will be in the spotlight again as he has the leading scorer in the league in the previous edition. Ifthikar Ahmed is an experienced batter who can score runs in any pressured situation with the help of quick boundaries. They have Michael Bracewell and Gudakesh Moties in the team but if their national commitments collide with the league action, the duo will leave immediately. In this case, the whole pressure will come on Usama Mir. Tayyab Tahir can be used as another option, but he failed to make an impact in the previous edition of the league.
