Rashid Khan Returns to the Team for Afghanistan vs South Africa ODI Series

Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced their 17-member squad for the ODI series against South Africa. The two teams will face each other for a 3-match ODI series at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah, UAE.
The star player of Afghan cricket - Rashid Khan, will be making his return to the camp. Rashid missed the previous ODI series against Ireland due to a back injury. The player is still not allowed to be part of long-form cricket but the medical team has given their approval for the white-ball format.
Rashid Khan has been a crucial player for Afghanistan in the white-ball setup. He is returning to the team will be a major push to the team in the bowling division and in the lower-order batting segment.

Afghanistan Squad for ODI Series Against South Africa
The contest between the two teams is expected to be a thrilling one. Afghanistan is hosting the Proteas for the first time in an ODI setup. The hosts can take inspiration from their brilliant run at the T20 World Cup performance where they reached the semi-finals for the first time.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman is again missing out on action. He has failed to receive from his right phalanx sprain. However, the selectors have given a chance to youngsters like Abdul Malik and Darwish Rasooli from domestic circuits.
Rasooli has already earned his place in the T20 format and now the player is expected to be part of the ODIs.
