Exactly a month from now, the 10th season of the Women’s Big Bash League will begin. As of now, all the franchises are in the process of finalising their teams and signing some of the best players out of the draft.
The two-time champions Sydney Thunder have shown their trust in their veteran player Sammy-Jo Johnson and the two parties have signed a contract for another season.
Sammy has been part of the Thunder franchise since 2020 and she has been a crucial player for the team. As an all-rounder, Sammy will be expected to make a valuable contribution in the middle order.
