She began her spell by seeking wickets of Nuriman Hiyadah and Nur Dania Syuhada. Later, she got the Hatrick by dismissing Nur Isma Dania, Nur Ain Binti Roslan and Siti Nazwah. Another left-arm spinner supported Vaishnavi in dismissing the batters with 3.3-1-8-3 figures.
Joshitha VJ took the first wicket of the opening batter Nuni Farini Safry and was rewarded with Player of the Match title.

Vaishnavi released a statement after the remarkable victory saying that she had a dream debut in the game.
