New Zealand cricket is entering a new domestic season. As we enter the end of the year, New Zealand Cricket will see the beginning of Super Smash 2024-25 both for men's and women’s cricket.

Over the years, Women’s Super Smash has become of prime importance for New Zealand cricket. It has given multiple talented women cricketers to the national squad and it has taken New Zealand towards the right path.

The women’s New Zealand Cricket Team recently won the T20 World Cup for the first time. Sophie Devine registered herself has a historical figure in the country by lifting the trophy for the country. It has also become more inspirational to the young cricketers in the country and now every participant in the Women’s Super Smash has a dream to become part of the national side.

There are a total of 6 teams participating in the tournament. The Women’s Super Smash will have a double round-robin format where every team will face the other team twice at the league stage. Teams who finish in the top 4 in the point table will be part of the playoffs and out of those, two teams will be part of the final fixture.
