After two successful seasons of the Women’s Premier League, the third season of the league is about to go on the floor. WPL 2025 will begin on 14th February with the first fixture between Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium.

The final fixture WPL 2024 against Delhi Capitals was a low-scoring affair for RCB and their bowlers started the game on a positive note. It was an easy chase for the team and the title was theirs at the end.
During the WPL 2025 auctions, RCB team management managed to sign the bowling all-rounder Prema Rawat for a price tag of INR 1.2 Crore. All-rounders Joshitha VJ and Raghvi Bist from the U-19 squad are also signed by the management during the auctions. Mumbai off-spinner Jagravi Pawar is also part of the team for the upcoming season.
In the overseas list, Charlie Dean is the new joiner to the team as a replacement for the injured Sophie Molineux. Sophie Molineux will miss out on WPL 2025 due to her knee injury.
