Women’s Premier League has become a centre of attraction in Indian Cricket and for women’s cricket. The first season of the league started in 2023 and the 2nd season made headlines as Royal Challengers Bangalore won the trophy.
India has become a breeding ground for new cricketers from the country and WPL has become a channel to discover new talent for women’s cricket. The 3rd season of the league is expected to be a jump start in women’s cricket in India.
Delhi Capitals will be the team to watch out for betting sites in India. They finished their league stage in both seasons as the table toppers but they have been unfortunate to not win the league. During WPL 2024, Delhi Capitals led the table at the league stage with 6 wins and 2 losses and their net run rate stood at +1.198.
They qualified for the finals directly and faced Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, their batting unit came out to be a weaker section and the Capitals ended up losing the opportunity to win their first WPL title.
