If you are ready to begin placing wagers on the WPL, you’ll need a betting site. Thankfully, we’ve done the research for you and found the top betting sites that will likely feature every WPL season moving forward.
During our search for the leading online sportsbooks, we had to look into various criteria and analyse every site in detail. Here’s a sneak peek of what we’ve found while making our list of the leading sportsbooks for WPL betting from India:
- Licensing and safety — The sportsbook needs to have a proper licence. Although it won't have one from India, it should possess one from internationally recognised regulators like the Malta Gaming Authority and UK Gambling Commission. This guarantees the book’s legitimacy and the safety of punters’ data and funds.
- Reputation — We always dig deep and check the site’s online reputation. We need to ensure the sportsbook maintains a high level of reliability, like 10CRIC and Parimatch.
- WPL betting odds — The odds determine how much you’ll earn, and even though they are pretty similar across the board, some sites offer slightly higher odds. For instance, Betway is known for having some of the most competitive cricket betting odds.
- Diversity of betting markets — Every betting site featured on our list must offer a wide range of cricket betting markets on WPL. Expect a diverse selection for every league’s match at the sportsbooks we recommend.
- Payment system — The entire system surrounding payments needs to be robust. There should be plenty of Indian payment methods allowing rupees, like UPI, Net Banking, IMPS, and others. Moreover, we ensure the fees are minimal or nonexistent and that the processing times are fast.
We evaluate many other factors, including bonuses and promotions, customer support, and mobile-friendliness. You should do the same when considering online sports betting platforms.

Here is a more detailed look at each one of the WPL gambling platforms.
#1 1xBet WPL App
1xBet is the best choice for those who want to bet on WPL. Not only does it boast a ton of cricket leagues, WPL included, but it also does so at above-average pricing. Completing payments in INR using methods like UPI and Net Banking is a breeze, and the withdrawal times are relatively fast (24-48 hours pending, after which some methods allow you to get your winnings in as little as 15 minutes).
New customers can join using a convenient one-click registration protocol and immediately claim the generous first deposit match bonus (there is a separate bonus for casino games). The 1xBet app for WPL betting is also conveniently compatible with Android and iOS systems.
The only actual downside to 1xBet is its website design. The site stutters at times, making navigation slow, while the layout looks a bit dated and takes time to get used to.
#2 Best WPL Bonus Betting App — 1win
If you wish to start your WPL betting campaign with a massive bonus, it’s clear that you should choose 1win. Of course, a great intro promo is far from this operator’s only quality.
1win is considered one of the best apps for WPL online betting for several reasons, but we especially like the platform’s user interface and navigation routes. The site’s modern-looking layout maintains a perfect balance of showing plenty of information without cluttering your screen. The 1win WPL betting app also looks great, runs smoothly, and is available for both iOS and Android users.
Other than sub-par pricing on some props and niche markets, we haven’t observed any negative aspects of the 1win betting app.
#3 Dafabet App
Dafabet is a legit online betting brand and a sponsor of many elite sports clubs and organisations across the globe (Celtic FC, Durham Cricket, Derbyshire CCC, etc.).
The site, known for competitive IPL betting odds and markets, maintains an old-school style layout, but other than being laggy at times, we like how it looks and feels. The betting app looks better and provides an easy WPL Satta online experience on the go.
Deposits and withdrawals can be made in rupees using familiar methods such as UPI, IMPS, Net Banking, and more. There’s also a vast selection of casino games, including popular Indian games such as Andar Bahar and Teen Patti.
#4 Parimatch App
Parimatch is another WPL betting site that has gained momentum in the last few years. It came into the spotlight when Conor McGregor and Mike Tyson endorsed it in 2019, and it has since continued to gain popularity, especially among Indian punters.
Parimatch distinguishes itself with excellent cricket pricing and market selection, and aside from enabling you to bet on WPL, it features odds on over a dozen other cricket leagues and competitions.
#5 Top Crypto WPL Betting App — Stake.com
Aside from accepting all the standard Indian-friendly methods like UPI, AstroPay, Paytm, and PhonePe, Stake.com is an excellent option for crypto bettors as it allows using several popular cryptocurrencies.
Stake.com has won over customers from all over Asia thanks to its excellent website and app design, competitive odds, and various payment options. We also like the use of advanced betting features like the Bets Feed, which allows you to see some of the bets made by other punters and copy them.
The apps we’ve located can provide you with the following:
- Better user experience — The apps we’ve selected have intuitive interfaces and are fully optimised for most modern iOS and Android devices, so you’ll find no lags or bugs ruining the experience.
- Easy to use — Every good betting app needs to have a simple design so punters can get the hang of them in no time. That’s the case with the platforms we recommend, including Parimatch and the 10CRIC app.
- Occupy little space — The top betting platforms feature lightweight apps, meaning they occupy up to 100 MB at the most. As a result, they also function better than others.
- Completely free — All the leading women’s IPL betting apps, like Dafabet and Betway, are free to download, install, and use. You can find them on the sportsbooks' official websites.
- Totally safe — Safety is crucial in the sports betting world, and the top WPL apps use the latest security measures like SSL encryption.
What Is WPL?
The Women’s Indian Premier League (WPL) is the novel women’s T20 franchise cricket league in India — the female counterpart of the highly successful men’s Indian Premier League. Most people, especially the members of various cricket betting sites in India, have started calling it the WPL.
Women’s cricket has been growing a lot in the last few years, and ever since the expansion of the Women’s T20 Challenge in 2018, the idea of a new major franchise league for women has been floating around. The BCCI finally announced the WPL in October 2022 and set an approximate date for the start of the first season — late February or early March 2023.
The initial competition will feature five teams, but none have been revealed, except the companies that have purchased the franchises. However, the league format is familiar and follows the one the IPL currently uses, so you’ll have plenty of women IPL betting opportunities.
Viacom 18 purchased the global media rights for ₹951 crore and will broadcast the competition for five years, starting in 2023. You can watch it on Sports18 and the JioCinema app.
What Are the WPL Rules?
As stated, the league format will follow the IPL one. This means the teams will compete in a double round-robin format.
Each team will play the other twice, and the highest-ranked franchises in the group or league stage will advance to the playoffs. The second and final stage will feature a series of knockout matches and the finals, where we’ll meet the first WPL champion.
This means that WPL betting online should work the same as IPL wagering. The only difference is that you’ll have fewer opportunities as the inaugural WPL season will have only five teams, in contrast to IPL’s ten. However, that number is set to rise as long as the first season is successful.

Here’s an overview of the companies that purchased the rights to the teams in 2023 and the cities that will act as hosts:
Owner | Host City | Bid |
---|---|---|
Adani Group | Ahmedabad, Gujarat | ₹1,289 crore |
Indiawin Sports | Mumbai, Maharashtra | ₹912.99 crore |
United Spirits | Bangalore, Karnataka | ₹901 crore |
JSW Group and GMR Group | New Delhi, Delhi | ₹810 crore |
Capri Global | Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh | ₹757 crore |
The BCCI bagged a total of ₹4,669.99 crore through the bidding process — the total amount of all five highest bids placed in a closed process where as many as 16 entities participated.
In comparison, the BCCI fetched ₹2,894.36 crore in 2008 for the initial men’s IPL teams.
This makes the WPL the second-highest valued cricket league on the planet, right after the IPL, based on its current valuation and calculations made by Jay Shah, the honorary secretary of the BCCI and the president of the Asian Cricket Council.
Outside of the franchise rights holders, little is known about WPL teams and their players. However, it’s worth mentioning that a few companies already own some of the IPL teams.
The JSW and GMR groups own the Delhi Capitals, Indiawin Sports (or the company’s founder Mukesh Ambani) operates the Mumbai Indians, and United Spirits manages the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The three entities have purchased the rights for WPL franchises in the same cities, so the women’s teams may bear the exact names of their men’s counterparts.
