One of the most iconic franchises in the IPL, the Rajasthan Royals, the inaugural Champions of IPL (2008) are in search of their 2nd IPL title. The team reached the finals yet again in 2022, but in the last three seasons, the team’s performance has been inconsistent.

Jofra Archer, if he stays fit, is going to run through the opponent’s batting orders this season. Archer bowled exceptionally well in the powerplay overs during the T20 World Cup 2026.

He picked up 11 wickets in 12 matches last season; most of those wickets came in the backend of the tournament, where he found his form and rhythm.

The surface at Guwahati, where he will play close to 3–4 matches early on, will suit his bowling. Additionally, he has played at most of the venues recently, so he should be well-accustomed to the conditions by now.
