Andries Gous Player Profile
South African-American cricketer Andries Gous began his career playing for the Free State team in the 2015 Africa T20 Cup. He impressed further by earning a spot in the Johannesburg Giants' squad for the inaugural season of the T20 Global League in 2017. The following month, Gous truly shone, scoring a century for Free State in a crucial semi-final match against Namibia in the Africa T20 Cup.
In 2021, he made a significant switch, moving to the United States and signing a three-year deal to represent their national team. After participating in the Minor League Cricket tournament in June 2021, Gous earned his well-deserved call-up to the USA squad in March 2024 for their series against Canada. He marked his international debut with a T20I appearance against Canada on April 7, 2024.
