Although the Milwaukee Bucks have been a hugely competitive side in the East for the past few seasons their recent run of form this season has been somewhat of a shock as they are currently in the lower half of the Eastern Conference standings and look to be a shell of their former selves as they presently hold a record of 2 wins and 7 losses in their 9 games so far.
This particular start has been their worst in almost a decade and has been a concerning one for the Milwaukee faithful as despite a great performance by their stars in Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard the Bucks are still unable to put together a winning streak so far this season.
Having begun the season with an optimistic win against the Philadelphia 76ers the Milwaukee side beat the Philly team at the Wells Fargo Arena by a score of 124-109 and while many would have expected them to carry on the season on a similar note the Bucks then went on to lose six games in a row with many of them coming against sides that they would easily dispatched in earlier seasons.
The victory in their first game was followed by losses against the Chicago Bulls and the Brooklyn Nets against whom they lost by points in the double digits before a visit to the reigning champions at the TD Gardens made sure that they lost their fourth game by a similar margin as they were defeated by a score of 119-108.
Following their loss to the Boston Celtics the Bucks then continued to fall further down the ladder as they were defeated by the Memphis Grizzlies in their fifth game before back-to-back losses against the Cleveland Cavaliers both at home and away left them with a 1-6 record.
The Milwaukee side then broke this 6-game losing streak with a win against the Utah Jazz before another loss to the New York Knicks left them hovering right above the bottom of the table with a 2-7 record.

While the Milwaukee Bucks have shocked the NBA with their dismal performances this season the Toronto Raptors on the other hand have been struggling for the past few seasons after failing to make it to the playoffs in the last two editions and weren’t expected to do much this season to which they have delivered so far this season.
Sitting a place below the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference standings the Raptors haven’t had the best start to their season so far as they have a 2-8 record at the time of writing and have been on a three-game losing streak that started against the Denver Nuggets earlier this week.
Although they have not had a 6-game losing record like the Bucks so far, the Raptors are yet to provide their fans with much to cheer about as they started their season with a 136-106 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers and while they did win their second game against the Philadelphia 76ers the Raptors were unable to build up on that performance as they lost their next four games against the likes of the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Denver Nuggets, the Charlotte Hornets and the Los Angeles Lakers.
While they did manage to break this winning streak against the Sacramento Kings whom they beat by a score of 131-128 in overtime the Raptors once again failed to capitulate on this win as they lost their next three games all away from home and against Western Conference opponents.
Now currently sitting in fourteenth place the Raptors will need to have a big winning streak in the coming months if they are to qualify for the playoffs come May.

With both the Milwaukee Bucks and the Toronto Raptors desperately needing a win to turn around their season this match will serve as a turning point for both teams and should have an edge to it especially due to the fact that both sides have been defensively weak and have relied heavily on their individual stars to lead them to victories.
This particular trait will make it a match of thin margins and should provide the bettors with odds that will be favorable in many departments.

Despite the Toronto Raptors being a side that can cause an upset the Milwaukee Bucks should consider themselves the favorites during this match up and take home the win especially given that they just lost to the Celtics and will be looking to get their revenge in their very next game.
