After a win their first match of the season against the Boost Region by 8 wickets, Amo Region couldn't carry the momentum as they lost their 2nd match of the season by 24 runs through the DLS method.
Choosing to bat first, they suffered a terrible top-order collapse, slumping to 25 for 3 within nine overs. Wicketkeeper Mohammad Ishaq fought back with a resilient 48 runs, while Nasir Jamal added a steady 28.
Later, Sharafuddin Ashraf played a brilliant rescue knock, top-scoring with 54 runs to push the total to 176 before they were bowled out in 49.3 overs.
When it was time to bowl, Amo's attack tried to defend the small total but struggled to make regular breakthroughs in the rain-affected second innings. Mohammad Saleem took the only wicket to fall to a bowler, but they couldn't building enough sustained pressure to stop the opposition.

Mis Ainak's misfortunes continues in the tournament as they lost yet another close contest against the Boost region in their last match after dropping theior season opener to the Band-e Amir Region by 6 runs in ahigh scoring game.
Opting to bowl first, their bowling attack started brilliantly by picking up three quick wickets, with Bilal Sami leading the charge by taking 4 for 74. However, they lost control in the middle overs, allowing the opposition to post a big total of 277.
Chasing a revised DLS target of 156 runs from 22.4 overs, the batters failed to keep up with the required run rate. Openers Asghar Atal scored 33 and Khalid Taniwal made 30 to give them a steady start, but a dramatic batting collapse saw them lose five wickets for just 23 runs, ending at 119 for 7.
Bowling failure has been a big issue for Mis Ainak in the last two matches where they conceded over 270 runs, this has added additional pressure to the batters requiring them to chase down big totals which they have tried and ended up falling short.

The pitch at Ghazi Amanullah Khan International Cricket Stadium has favoured the batters in the initial stages of the match, when the surface is hard and as the game progresses it slows down a touch with uneven bounce and assists the spinners a lot more. The average 1st innings score in the last six matches is around 245-250 runs. A score of around 270 is par for this fixture and easy to defend.
