However, Canada bounced back in the fifth T20I where they secured a one-sided eight-wicket victory. The match was cut short to 10 overs and Argentina scored 71/7. Canada chased down the total with one over left. The series now stands at 3-1 in favour of Argentina. They have a solid chance to tie their H2H record with Canada and win their first series since 2023. They last won a T20I series against China three years back. 

In the opening T20I, Argentina defeated Canada by one wicket in a small run-chase. The hosts added one more victory in the second game by chasing 89 runs. Canada dropped the fourth T20I in a dramatic fashion as they failed to chase 97 runs. They were bowled out on 78 runs. The visitors lacked in the batting department. It was another game when they failed to hit a single boundary. The series has become a six-game contest. They cannot tie the series if they lose the sixth T20I. Chalmers showed character in the last two games which is a good sign for the side.
