Ahead of the final round of group stage fixtures in the 2025/26 Senior Women's Inter Zonal T20 Trophy, West Zone Women and North Zone Women are the two unbeaten sides and both are fighting for the top spot!
Central Zone Women are best of the rest though, and if they can inflict the first defeat of the season on West Zone Women then they will finish only two points behind their opponents.
Form wise, it is North Zone Women who bring an unbeaten record into the fixture and they will claim that they would be clear at the top if rain hadn't interrupted their other fixture.
Central Zone Women bring poor form after a six wicket defeat against North Zone Women on Monday.

Despite some strong batting from opener D.Kasat who hit 48 runs, including five fours and two sixes, and 43 runs from A. Sharma at number three, Central Zone Women were well beaten by North Zone Women in match 11 of 16 on Monday.
Kasat is a technically correct player and is perhaps better suited to longer formats so she will need to score with more fluency in this match after she finished with a strike-rate of 102.13 against North Zone Women.
Other likely run-scorers for the side are N. Badwalk and M. Meshram.
With the ball, expect S. Bahadur to lead the attack while A. Singh is likely to be the most economical from the seven-woman attack!

West Zone Women have been unstoppable so far in this competition, with only the rain preventing them from enjoying a clean sweep of victories, and the romped home by seven wicket and four balls remaining in their last match against East Zone Women on Monday.
At the top of the order, expect openers H. Kazi and K. Navgire to come into this game with plenty of confidence after they made 98 runs between them and enjoyed a first-wicket partnership of 100.
Navgire is the more aggressive of the pair and she will be looking to clear the boundary once again after hitting two sixes in the last match.
With the ball, only three players took wickets for West Zone Women last time - I Khale, A. Patil and K. Patel.
H. Kazi, K. Navgire, A. Jospeh, T. Hasabnis, A. Patil (c), S. Satghare, U. Jethva (wk), P. Khemnar, S. Thakor, I. Khale, K. Patel

It looks like being a nice day in Nagaland on Wednesday with the temperature up in the early twenties. It will be humid as well though so expect some moisture in the wicket.
With the pitch standing up to the trials and tribulations across the tournament so far, we are not expecting it to deteriorate now. There is good pace and some turn in the wicket.
Both teams have strong bowling attacks and this will mean that the sides want to bowl first before chasing down a total in the second innings of the match. Expect the skippers to choose to bowl first.
