Sachin Dubey led the chase with an impressive 84 off 46 balls, supported by Arvind Kumar’s 42 off 27 and Sumit Kumar’s 41 off 24. The Challengers were well placed at 161/2 after 15.2 overs, requiring 62 runs from 28 balls, but they could not maintain the required scoring rate in the closing stages. Amosh Ekka and Akash Kumar picked up two wickets apiece.

The Challengers have plenty of all-round options in their squad. Sachin Dubey is the standout batting option, while Arvind Kumar, Lalit Singh Bhoj and Sharandeep Singh Bhatia add further depth. Rahul Mahto is the specialist wicketkeeping option.

Chakradharpur earlier faced a tough defeat against Jagannathpur Tigers. The Tigers posted a strong 209 before bowling the Royals out for 185. Shrestha led the chase with an impressive 76 off 33 balls, but Chakradharpur continued to lose wickets at regular intervals. They needed 24 runs from the final over but could not complete the chase. Karan Kumar was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets for 24 runs, while David Sanga claimed two.

Chakradharpur have assembled a squad with options across all departments. Varun Kumar Singh, Amartya Chaudhary, Anuj Oraon and Lalit Singh provide batting depth, while wicketkeepers Om Arjun Yadav and Shivam Patel offer further flexibility behind the stumps.
