Mustafizur Rahman is the skipper for the new season and would like to make a solid start to the campaign. The defending champions had a great campaign last year, and Rahman would like his side to draw inspiration from those wins. There have been several changes to the squad, and it will be interesting to see how the new players perform in this game.  

The side will expect a good start in this game from Brandon King and Liton Das, as both these players are strike makers. The middle order is well-packed with Kayes, Chadwick Walton, and Sean Williams in the team, and they will look to build partnerships in this game. Mohammad Nabi and Mossadek Hossain add solidity to this batting line-up.   

Mustafizur Rahman shall look to lead from the front with the ball as he opens the bowling with Abrar Ahmed. Mohammad Nabi is an experienced bowler and has a vital role in the middle overs. The side would also like to see good spells from Tanvir Aslam and Williams, as bowling remains one of their weaknesses.

Rangpur Riders Preview

Nurul Hasan's team marks a return to the tournament after three years, and they will look to make a positive start. The team is a mix of new players who haven't played together in the past, making it c challenge. Hasan must show his captaincy skills and make the right tactical moves against a stronger opponent.  

They would need a good start from Mohammad Naim and Nurul Hasan at the top, as some of their players won't be available for this game. Shoaib Malik and Sikandar Raza add experience to the middle order and need to score runs alongside Rony Talukdar. Down the order, the team will need strong performances from Mohammad Nawaz and Shamim Hossain.  

Haris Rauf and Rakibul Hasan must do well with the new ball as their opponents have a strong batting line-up.
