Delhi were 15/0 in the third over when rain brought the game to an early end.

With one point from their two games, Delhi now face Faridabad in a crucial fixture. A defeat would end their campaign, while Noida and Faridabad currently occupy the stronger positions in the race for the semifinals.

The Firebirds chased down Gurugram’s 190 with eight wickets in hand, with Ayush Sachdeva and Adeet Singh both scoring half-centuries. Adeet was also impressed with the ball, picking up two wickets for just 16 runs in his four overs. It was Faridabad’s second consecutive victory, making them the first team from their group to secure a place in the semifinals.

Earlier, the Firebirds made a strong start to their campaign with a clinical victory over Noida Ninjas. Their bowlers restricted Noida to 100/7, with Anurag Mishra, Mayank Arora and Suraj Rathore claiming two wickets each, while Adeet Singh picked up one. The Firebirds reduced Noida to 8/4 early in the innings and never allowed them to recover. In reply, their openers added 85 runs in 8.3 overs, with Ayush Sachdeva smashing 56 off just 29 balls.

With three games in the league stage and the top two teams advancing to the semifinals, Faridabad will now look to strengthen their position at the top of the table. Ayush Sachdeva has been one of their standout performers, scoring two half-centuries in two matches at a strike rate of more than 180.
