Delhi Dynamos head into the contest on the back of a decent performance in a rain-affected clash against Gurugram Gladiators. The Dynamos restricted Gurugram to 110 runs with Yogesh Nagar picking three wickets for 21 runs. Devinder Singh also bagged two wickets for 11 runs. Aditya Yadav also added two scalps. It was a complete bowling performance from Delhi. They were 15/0 in third over when rain interrupted the game. 

With a strong local presence in the squad, the Dynamos will look to make a winning start in the inaugural edition of the NCR T20 League. They will face their neighbours, Noida Ninjas, in the second game. The Yellow Outfit will be led by IPL-experienced Yogesh Nagar, who already showed his bowling skill in the opening game. 

Amandeep adds an attacking dimension to the lineup in the top order, with his ability to score quickly likely to be particularly useful during the middle and death overs. Suryansh Arora is also a solid performer with the bat. His ability to chip in with useful runs and contribute with the ball makes him an important part of Delhi’s combination.

Noida Ninjas head into the contest on the back of a tough loss on the opening day. They suffered an eight-wicket victory against the Ninjas. Noida batted first and posted 100/7 on a challenging wicket. Asela Gunaratne scored a gritty half-century but he didn’t get support from another end. Noida lost four wickets on just eight runs and still, they crossed the three-figure mark. 

The Ninjas failed badly in the second innings as Faridabad added 85 runs for the opening wicket. The Firebirds chased down the total with 49 balls left. It also hurt Noida in the NRR and they slipped to bottom in the table. They couldn't afford a loss in the second game as the first game of this group was called off due to rain. Noida will be eliminated from the race to semifinals in case of a defeat. 

The Purple Outfit will be led by Karan Kumar, who will bat at No. 3. They also added Sri Lanka international Asela Gunaratne, who showed his best form in the opening game, scoring a half-century. They have combined local NCR talent with players who have experience across competitive cricket. Noida’s current roster features six specialist batting options, two all-rounders and three specialist bowlers, with the all-rounders providing additional bowling cover.
