With their last defeat against Chittagong Vikings the Dhaka Dynamites find themselves in a spot of bother having lost their last four games. They have to win the next one versus Victorians to stay alive in the league. 

The Dynamites batted well in the last even though they fell short by 11 runs which was due to the failure of their top order with Mizanur Rahman, Sunil Narine and Rony Talukdar falling cheaply. Shakib Al Hasan, Nurul Hasan and Andre Russell played well. With Kieron Pollard in the side they have a good batting line-up and they will need to fire in the upcoming game. 

Their bowlers have been letting the side down too frequently as they did in the last game. Sunil Narine was the only bowler who checked the flow of runs. Andrew Birch, Rubel Hossain and Shakib all went for runs and they would need to check that in the upcoming game against Victorians who have strong batting line-up.

The weather is expected to be warm with maximum temperature of 28° centigrade on February 01 at Dhaka. The pitch is expected to assist the fast bowlers a bit in the initial few overs given the number of days no cricket has been played on the surface. By and large run scoring should be easy and spinners are likely to come into play only in the 2nd innings of the game.
