Dhaka Dynamites to win the Match
Our Prediction is for Dhaka Dynamites to win the match!
Tournament: Bangladesh Premier League 2019 | Format: Twenty20 | Venue: Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sylhet | Toss: To Bowl
Bet NowThe 17th match Bangladesh Premier League 2019 would see Dhaka Dynamites lock horns with Rajshahi Kings for the second time in the tournament. Dynamites had registered a comfortable victory in the last game against them earlier in the season. They are undefeated so far in the tournament and have looked the side to beat this season. Rajshahi Kings on the other hand have won only two out of their five games and are facing lot of heat.
It will be an important game for the Kings to move up on the points table while Dhaka Dynamites would look to keep up with their winning momentum.
The journey has been incredible so far for Shakib Al Hasan’s team and they have won four straight games so far and come here after a thumping victory over Sylhet Sixers in the last game.
The batting line-up is formidable with Sunil Narine in good form and Hazratullah Zazai being the top scorer for the side. Rony Talukdar and Shakib Al Hasan had a great game against Sylhet and would be looking forward for the same in the next game. Add to this Andre Russell and Kieron Pollard and this can terrify any bowling side. With Shakib back among runs and the likes of Nurul Hasan and Shuvagata Hom lower down the order they have the perfect batting arsenal.
The bowlers have played complementary role so far in the season. Sunil Narine and Shakib Al Hasan have been incredible with the ball and the young lad Shuvagata Hom bowled brilliantly in the last game. Rubel Hossain had a great game too in the last match and with Andre Russell and Aliss Islam they have the perfect bowling line-up.

It has been mixed bag of a season so far for the Kings as they have suffered from the problem of inconsistency. Their loss in the last game which was a low scoring one would hurt the side.
It was a disastrous batting performance in the last game where they failed to chase a target of 129. Mohammad Hafeez’s departure to join the national side has cost them. Openers Mominul Haque and Laurie Evans are in bad form. Mehidy Hassan was the only batsman who played some part in the last game. The likes of Soumya Sarkar and Ryan ten Doeschate need to put price on their wicket if they wish to stand up against a strong bowling attack they would play against in the next game.
The bowlers did their job brilliantly in the last game with Mehidy Hassan being the best. Mustafizur Rahman, Kamrul Islam and Arafat Sunny also did well. Isuru Udana did go for some runs in his second spell but he picked up an early wicket. The bowlers would look to repeat their performance in the next game.

It would be a hazy afternoon in Sylhet on January 16 and this should make it tough to bat with bowlers getting to move the ball. Both the games so far in the ground have been low scoring ones with bowlers getting decent bargain from the pitch. While the outfield is fast the two paced wicket coupled with seaming conditions makes it a difficult pitch to bat on.
It isn’t one of those typical high scoring T20 venues and perhaps one of those rare grounds in the sub-continent where there is lot for the bowlers. The winter haze and the cool weather conditions make it a difficult wicket to bat on especially in the first innings. Fast bowlers on both the sides should enjoy bowling in this ground.
It’s an afternoon game and hence dew isn’t something that the captains would have in their minds. But in the two games that have already been played at this ground we have seen lot of lateral moment in the initial overs. The captain winning the toss would most likely decide to bowl first and make best out of some juice in the wicket.
Dhaka Dynamites has looked like an incredibly strong outfit so far in the season. They have batsmen in form and their bowlers have been bowling according to plans. Rajshahi Kings on the other hand are struggling with their form at the moment and their poor show in the last game just showed the tentativeness in their batting. Dhaka Dynamites are clear favorites and would have to do something silly to lose the upcoming game.
