The weather forecast predicts a 40% chance of rain on the match day. We expect rain to have a say in the playing conditions and a truncated match might be a possibility.
Kerava Stadium is a bowler-friendly pitch and we can expect scores in the range of 120-140 runs. The batsmen will find it hard to time the ball due to slowness of track and uneven bounce on the track.
The pitch slows down considerably in the second innings and chasing becomes very tough in these conditions. Both captains will look to bat first if they win the toss.
Empire CC team`s bowling attack hunted in a pack in their opening match to defend a low target. They came back strongly for the tough position early to win the match and their experience in this league showed up to help their cause. Greater Helsinki lost the match failing to defend the target and their inexperience showed up as they are new to the league this year. We expect Empire CC to win this match.
