South Delhi Superstarz Women head into Match 9 of the Women’s Delhi Premier League 2026 in strong form after a dominant 60-run victory over East Delhi Riders in their previous match. They posted an imposing 179/6, with captain Shweta Sehrawat leading the way with an unbeaten 75 off just 36 balls. Tanisha Singh also made a valuable 40 off 27, while Nishika Singh contributed 29.

Their bowling attack then restricted East Delhi to 119/8. Parunika Sisodia was the standout performer with two wickets, while Simran Bahadur, Purva Siwach and Bharti Rawal also picked up a wicket each.  

South Delhi currently sit second in the points table with three wins from four matches, and will look to carry their momentum into the second consecutive meeting with East Delhi.
