This looks like being an exciting contest between two teams who will be keen to make an early mark at the ACC Women's U19 Premier Cup across the next week of fixtures.
Neither side looks likely to be challenging to win the competition but both will fancy their chances of getting through the group stage and reaching the knockouts.
Hong Kong, China Women U-19s have been struggling in recent games and this could be a very tough opening match but if they can get a victory then there will be plenty of self belief in the camp!
Although they have not picked up many victories over recent games, there is still plenty of exciting talent coming through the ranks of this Hong Kong, China U-19 side.
Led by Storm Parker, one of the most exciting captains and big hitting batters in the women's game, scoring runs is unlikely to be a problem for this side, particularly with Karen Poon also showing herself to be a talented player.
With the ball, Vanessa So is the standout performer and she will be required to be at her best throughout her four overs if the team are to have a chance of beating a stronger Singapore Women U-19 side.

Although some of the names in the Singapore Women's U-19 squad are not household names, there is plenty of talent in the team and they will be confident ahead of Saturday's clash with Hong Kong, China Women U-19.
With the bat, there is plenty of depth to the order, and often some of their most powerful players, capable of clearing the boundaries, do not come out into the middle until the halfway stage of the innings.
Bowling wise, the spinners in this side are erratic but the pace bowlers are generally able to bowl consistent line and length with some interesting variations as well.
They are something of an unknown quantity!

The conditions are still expected to be warm and humid into late morning in Malaysia. Expect the temperature to be in the low thirties with an outside chance of rain.
This venue does offer short boundaries down the ground and if the bowlers put it in the slot then they could easily disappear back over their heads. A par total will be around 140.
We predict that both teams will be keen to bowl first ahead of this game and if the captains win the toss then we expect them to immediately insert the opposition.
