It was a comprehensive win for Ashok Menaria's side in the quarterfinal. They dominated the game against Bengal from the start and won it comfortably by 6 wickets. They had lost against Tamil Nadu last year by a big margin and need to be at their best to win this against a formidable opponent.  

Ankit Kumar scored a hundred in the last game and will look to he will deliver a good start in this game with Yuvraj Singh. The middle order failed to build partnerships in the middle order, and the team will need a better performance from Himanshu Rana, Nishant Sindhu, and Rohit Parmod Sharma. Ashok Menaria and Rahul Tewatia will look to do well in the lower middle order.    

The bowling attack has done well in the last few games, and the team will need early wickets from Sumit Kumar and Anshul Kamboj. Yuzvendra Chahal picked 4 wickets in the previous game, and he must trouble the Tamil Nadu batsmen with Harshal Patel and Sindhu. Tewatia will look to do well in the supporting role.

Dinesh Karthik's team put on an excellent show in the quarterfinal. While most experts had suggested a tight contest against the powerhouse Mumbai, Karthik and his men registered a comprehensive 7-wicket win. Haryana will be tough to beat, and Karthik would like a good show from his players.  

Baba Aparajith and N Jagadeesa set up a 50-run stand in the last game, and the pair will look to deliver a good start. Baba Indrajith will be confident after his hundred, and he will look to build partnerships with Nidhish Rajagopal and Vijay Shankar in the middle order. Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore, Dinesh Karthik, and Shahrukh Khan are good hitters and will look to finish the innings with quick runs.  

The team has a strong bowling attack, and they will expect a good show with the new ball from T Natarajan and Manimaran Siddharth. Varun Chakaravarthy is in good form, adding strength to the attack. Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore, Baba Indrajith, and Vijay Shankar add depth to this attack.
