Both India A and Pakistan A had statement wins in their opening games of the 2025 Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament but it was certainly India A who caught the eye the most with their huge margin of victory!
That's not to say that Pakistan A did not impress either, and a 40-run success in a T20 match should never be sniffed at, particularly as the margin could have been much bigger apart from a couple of lower order batters chancing their arms.
With a 17:30 local time start, this game should see plenty of local workers come down to support their nation's A side. Under lights as well, all the ingredients for an exciting contest are here.
It's India versus Pakistan, once again.

As 14 year olds go, Vaibhav Suryavanshi probably holds the record for the most column inches written about a player of his age, but his talent is such that nothing seems like hyperbole.
India as a country have so much depth in their cricket stocks that the likes of Naman Dhir, captain Jitesh Sharma, Ramandeep Singh and Yash Thakur could all be playing for the full side and no-one would question the selection.
Suryavanshi hit 144 runs from 42 balls against UAE and will no-doubt go out and look to bat in the same manner in this game. Jitesh is also in fantastic form after making 83 not out from 32 balls.
With the ball, Gurjapneet Singh comes into this match after taking 3/18 while Yash Thakur took 1/22 - both will be particularly hard to handle in this contest.

Two of Pakistan A's batters stood out in their win over Oman - opener Maaz Sadaqat and skipper Irfan Khan both impressed so plenty will be expected of them once more.
That's not to say that there are no other batting talents in the side with opener Mohammad Naeem and Mohammad Faiq both very attacking players from the off.
With the ball, Ubaid Shah will be looking to add to his three wicket haul from the last game while Maaz Sadaqat was particularly impressive with 2/14 against Oman.
Pakistan A have a tough challenge here, but their players will be very up for it.

It will be a warm day-night fixture in Doha with the temperature in the high-20s from start to finish. Humidity levels will increase as the game progresses.
The West End Park International Cricket Stadium will provide a good batting wicket for the explosive hitters on both sides. Expect both teams to be targeting 200 runs when batting first.
These two teams had convincing wins in their opening games when batting first. Therefore, we predict that they will both choose to bat first once more if they win the toss.
