India beat South Africa by 9 wickets
The side chasing in this game will hold around a 70 to 80% chance of winning, because the dew that sets in during the second innings will make batting much easier.

The third and final ODI between India and South Africa is all set to take place at Visakhapatnam, bringing this series to a close. Things are tied at 1-1, and both teams will be desperate to claim the decider. There's not much between them in terms of quality, and whoever bats second could well end up winning, given how much the heavy dew will favor the team chasing.

India will feel let down after dropping the second ODI, even after placing a massive 358 on the board. Hundreds from Virat Kohli and Ruturaj Gaikwad gave them an ideal base, yet loose bowling along with heavy outfield scoring allowed South Africa to finish the chase in the last over.
For the next match, the batting unit will need to think about pushing for another 25 to 30 runs if they are asked to bat first once more, as chasing becomes really easy in these conditions. Along with Kohli, who’s in supreme touch with two consecutive hundreds, Rohit Sharma adds the kind of calm presence that steadies the order. His recent touch in this format has been excellent, with three scores above 50 in his previous four outings, and he will chase a long innings here.
Yashasvi Jaiswal can lift the tempo early, while Gaikwad and KL Rahul guide the middle overs. Rahul can switch gears later on, something he has shown across the two ODIs in this series.
The bowling unit has taken wickets but has allowed far too many runs when the pressure builds. Harshit Rana has been steady but can go for runs, and Arshdeep Singh uses his variations well.
Prasidh Krishna is the weakest link in this attack as he concedes runs almost every over and often finishes with an economy above 7 or 8. Kuldeep Yadav manages the spin section and has delivered strongly in this series, leading India’s wicket tally with five slaps at 7.30.
Virat Kohli Total 6's Over 0.5 1.75
Virat Kohli has smashed a total of 9 sixes in the last two matches the most by a batter in this ODI series. He is in sublime form at the moment smashing back to back hundreds and looks unstoppable. We back Kohli to play another match winning knock in this fixture and hit over 0.5 sixes.
Rohit Sharma Total 4's Over 3.5 1.85
Rohit Sharma has smashed eight fours in this series, averaging four boundaries per match. On a good, flat batting track in Vizag for the series decider, expect the “Hitman” to step up at a venue where he averages five fours per innings across seven ODIs. We predict his total fours tally to be over 3.5.
Virat Kohli Total Runs Over 40.5 1.85
Virat Kohli has scored back-to-back hundreds in the series and is the leading run-scorer with 237 runs in two matches. Heading into today’s match in Vizag, he is in exceptional form at a venue where he has scored 587 runs in seven matches, averaging 97.83, including three centuries.

South Africa enter the decider with a strong sense of confidence after showing plenty of resolve in the first ODI and then pulling off a chase of 358 in the second match with four balls left. That same resolve should carry into the next contest, and they will walk in as firm favorites if they chase again under these conditions.
Aiden Markram and Quinton de Kock shape the early stages, mixing early intent with the awareness needed to build an innings once bowlers tighten their lines. Markram is coming off a superb 110 from 98 in the previous match, and his form looks well settled.
The middle order includes Matthew Breetzke and Temba Bavuma, two players who can stay at the crease for long periods and guide the innings forward. Breetzke, in particular, will play an important part for the visitors after his composed 72 and 68 in the first two games. He averages 68 in ODIs this year, and another strong hand from him is expected.
Their batting stretches deep, with Dewald Brevis, Marco Jansen, and Corbin Bosch providing steady support in the lower order. All three have shown that they can add quick 30 to 40 run bursts at a strike rate above 100, which gives this South African batting unit impressive length.
The bowling unit looked well-balanced too, as Nandre Burger and Lungi Ngidi produced meaningful spells that troubled India, especially at the start and in the closing overs. Jansen has also caused problems with the bounce and pace he generates.
Matthew Breetzke Total Runs over 27.5 1.85
Matthew Breetzke has made an outstanding start to his ODI career, scoring 682 runs in 11 matches at an average of 68.20, including one century, six half-centuries, and a couple of 30-plus scores. He carried South Africa’s batting in this series with back to back half centuries scoring 140 runs in 2 matches.

Afternoon conditions at the stadium in Visakhapatnam tend to leave the surface firm and true, but not flat enough for all-out hitting. Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium sees batters get decent value early, while any pace bowler who can land the ball full occasionally gets movement or carry. As the daylight fades, the outfield slows a little, giving spin bowlers a shot at applying pressure.
The weather will be bright and cool through the day.

Teams batting first at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium average 277. India's 387-5 versus West Indies in 2019 is the highest score recorded at this ground. A total near that range will be necessary for this contest, given that the heavy dew factor in the second half will favor the team batting second.
India to win the coin toss 1.90
It hasn't been India's time when it comes to tosses and they have lost 20 coin tosses in a row. So we believe that India will end this losing streak of tosses and win the toss today in the 3rd ODI at Vizag.
With chances of heavy dew setting in post 7 PM, expect the toss-winning captain to bowl first and try and chase the target down when conditions favor them more.
The series is level at 1-1, and both India and South Africa can realistically take this one. India have a slight edge playing at home, but South Africa have proven they won't back down and will scrap right through to the last ball. We're looking at another close finish that could go either way, with neither side holding a decisive upper hand. That said, whoever chases will have a major boost since the dew in the late evening makes run scoring easier and bowling a nightmare, as both previous matches have shown. So the result may ultimately come down to who bats second, though we're leaning marginally towards India, given the home advantage. But, if South Africa chases again, they will be favorites to take the series 2-1.
India are are our picks for the winners of the third and final ODI.
