Ireland Preview

Ireland put up a decent performance against the West Indies in the previous series; they won the first match but, following a defeat in the final game, ended the series level at 1-1. This shows that they are capable of challenging any major team in their home conditions. Paul Stirling's vast captaincy experience could certainly benefit Ireland.

Ireland will have high hopes for their batting from captain Paul Stirling, who has scored 355 runs in his last 10 matches at an average of around 40. Apart from him, Andy Balbirnie could also surprise everyone with a strong performance; he has scored over 257 runs in his last 10 matches, maintaining an average above 28. Additionally, Harry Tector and Lorcan Tucker also have the ability to do well in this series for the home side.
