Despite their series loss in England, the Australian team has an excellent record with three losses in their last 30 games. A win for Ireland Women would be a big heartbreak for the Aussies, and it remains to be seen if the hosts are up to the task.

Laura Delany side has an uphill task in this game. History stands against them as they have never defeated the Australians in the past. The Aussies shall come hard at them after their shocking loss in England. Delany would need to get the best out of her players to win this game and script history.  

The side will need a good start in this game from Gaby Lewis and Amy Hunter, as Australians have a strong bowling attack. Delany must anchor the innings in the middle order with Orla Prendergast and Arlene Kelly. Leah Paul, Mary Waldron, and Rebecca Stokell must add runs in the lower middle order to put pressure on the visitors.

Beth Mooney and Ellyse Perry solidify the middle order, and the side will need a good show from them in this game. The Aussies have depth in this line-up and shall look for runs from Ashleigh Gardner, Annabel Sutherland, and Tahlia McGrath.  

The bowling attack didn't do well in England, and they will need a good show with the new ball from Darcie Brown and Perry. Megan Schutt and Gardner are experienced bowlers who will look to trouble the Irish side. Jonassen, McGrath, and Sutherland strengthen this attack with their variety.
