Besides Azam, Alex Hales continued his excellent form for Kings and smashed 49 runs off 27 balls with the help of six fours and two sixes. Under their new captain Shan Masood, Multan Sultans made a strong statement on Saturday when they humbled defending champions Quetta Gladiators by 30 runs, announcing they are ready to shed the underachiever’s tag they earned last season.
