This is Match 11 in the 2025 CSA 4-Day Series and both Limpopo and Border will be disappointed by their starts as they both begin this round of fixtures in the bottom three places.
They can both take hope that no team has run away at the top of the table so far. Yes, Eastern currently occupy pole position but they have played four matches already and are top more by virtue of that than any other metric!
Limpopo still have time to climb the table but their form has been very poor in their opening three matches.
And Border need to bounce back from a 206 run defeat in their last clash.

After defeats by an innings and 63 runs to begin the tournament, followed by a loss by an innings and 161 runs, Limpopo managed to find something in the middle with a defeat of an innings and 99 runs against Knights.
The only positive for Liam Peters' men is the fact that they have had nearly two months to come up with a new game plan and to find a way to start succeeding in this league.
Their blueprint is likely to centre around the runs of Christoffel Klijnhans in the middle order and some crease-occupying skills from Ludwig Kaestner at the top of the order.
With the ball, Marcello Piedt, Maphekgola Pootona and Don Radebe are likely to be the most dangerous in Polokwane.

Border never quite got going in their second game of this CSA 4-Day Series Division Two fixture in Benoni where they were constantly chasing the game and eventually went down by 206 runs against Eastern.
It wasn't all doom and gloom for Border though as Chad Classen showed his ability with the new ball, picking up four wickets in the first innings and Thando Ntini also impressed.
It is with the bat where they need a big improvement. Mncedisi Malika could jump up the order after hitting a century in the second innings but top order runs are needed from openers Nathan Roux and Jerome Bossr.
Border should have enough with both bat and ball in this game.

The conditions are likely to be dry throughout this four day game although rain the day before the contest may make batting tough on day one. The temperature will be in the mid-low twenties throughout.
The Cricket Club Ground in Polokwane offers consistent bounce but quite a slow outfield. Whoever bats first will be looking to post a total of 270+ to be competitive.
Neither team excelled with the bat in their last fixtures so we predict that the captains will go out for the toss with the intention of choosing to bowl first if they call correctly.
