The tournament enters a crucial stage and Buttler who likes leading from the front shall look to register a big win.  

Openers Phillip Salt and Jos Buttler make it a formidable opening pair and they shall look to set up a good stand. The middle order has good players and the trio of Wayne Madsen, Laurie Evans and Paul Walter need to do well in this game. Andre Russell adds to the side’s strength down the order, and he must add quick runs with Tristan Stubbs and Sean Abbott in this game.   

Sean Abbott and Fred Klaassen must get their lines right with the new ball as this has been a major weakness for the team in both games. Russell and Matthew Parkinson have lots of experience and they have an important role in this game. They would also look for good spells from Hartley, Paul Walter, and Stubbs as the Rockets have a strong batting line-up.

Lewis Gregory’s side had a clean record so far. The side won both the games they played. It was a comprehensive win for the side in their last game against the Northern Superchargers. The side chased a big score winning the game by 7 wickets. Gregory would be aware of Manchester’s strengths, and he would like his side to put up a clinical performance in this game.  

Alex Hales and Dawid Malan are in excellent form and the pair shall look to set up a big opening wicket stand in this game. Colin Munro, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, and Gregory form a strong middle order and the side would expect runs from them. Old Trafford is a good batting surface as the ball hits the bat hard and allows batsmen to play their strokes. We have seen big sores in this venue in the past.  Fast bowlers do well with the new ball as there is assistance for them and the larger size of the boundaries makes it one of the easier venues in England for the spinners.
