If we were to predict the finalists in the ACC Mens Premier Cup 2023 at the start of the tournament, Nepal and the United Arab Emirates would have been our picks. Nepal qualified for the final, being the Group winners after their game against Kuwait was abandoned by rain. UAE rode home to a 2-run win against Oman under the DLS method.  

Nepal has dominated the United Arab Emirates in the last few months and has won five out of six games against them. They are enjoying a dream run at this venue with 11 consecutive wins. UAE batsmen have been in excellent form and would bank on it. Both teams have quality players, and we expect an intense contest in the final.

Nepal saw its semifinal against Kuwait being washed away. The hosts had Kuwait struggling at 37 for 6 with a target of 282 runs. It has been all positive for the team in this tournament, and they haven't lost a game. Skipper Rohit Paudel will want his players to carry on with this momentum and grab the title with a good show in this game.  

Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh have made runs in the tournament and would like to offer a positive start. The middle order has been in excellent form, with Bhim Sharki, Rohit Paudel, and Kushal Malla scoring runs, and they will look to build partnerships in this game. The side has depth in the batting, and they can expect runs from Aarif Sheikh, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Sompal Kami.  

Karan KC and Sompal Kami have troubled the opponents with the new ball, and the pair must strike early as UAE's top order has done well. Sandeep Lamichhane has lived up to his reputation and will need to put pressure on the batsmen along with Lalit Rajbanshi. Airee and Paudel add variety to Nepal's attack, making it strong.

Muhammad Waseem's side won by 2 runs under the DLS method against Oman in the 2nd semifinal. They were lucky to have grabbed the victory after Oman gave them a scare in the run chase. Their batsmen have been in good form, and the side will look to capitalize on that. Nepal has been a tough nut for them to crack this year, and Waseem would like to change that.  

Muhammad Waseem and Aryan Lakra have given good starts to the side, and they will look to do so in the game that matters the most. Vriitya Aravind has had a dream run, with 446 runs to his name. In the middle order, he must build partnerships with Rameez Shahzad and Asif Khan. Rohan Mustafa, Basil Hameed, and Aayan Afzal Khan make it a strong batting line-up.   

Aayan Afzal Khan has had a great tournament, and he must deliver early blows, sharing the new ball with Junaid Siddique. Basil Hameed and Mustafa have a lot of experience, and they must bring it to use in this game. The side will also expect good spells from Karthik Meiyappan and Zahoor Khan.
