Pakistan Greens Preview

Pakistan Green enter the final of the 2026 National Champions Cup on the back of three consecutive victories. They defeated Pakistan Blues by 192 runs in their latest match to make it three wins in a row. Batting first, Green posted 302 runs, with Mohammad Suleman scoring a brilliant century. Even after resting some of their key players, Green's batters stepped up and delivered an impressive performance. They will be high on confidence heading into the title clash.

Pakistan Green will take on Pakistan Gold in the final. Green already secured a convincing victory over Gold in the group stage, scoring 314 runs while batting first. Fakhar Zaman led the way with a magnificent century, while Omain Yusuf contributed 74 runs and captain Shadab Khan scored 61. In reply, Gold lost three wickets for just 86 runs and failed to chase down the target.

Green also defeated Pakistan Whites by five wickets after successfully chasing 277 runs. Fakhar Zaman was once again the standout performer, scoring another impressive century, while Naseem Shah claimed a three-wicket haul.

Fakhar Zaman could be the player to watch in the final. He is currently the tournament's leading run-scorer, with 238 runs in two innings. We back him to score more than 30 runs in the upcoming contest. Sameer Minhas could also be a solid option at the top of the order. He scored 343 runs in 10 innings during PSL 2026 at an impressive strike rate of 155.90.

With the ball, Naseem Shah remains a proven match-winner. He picked up 12 wickets in the UAE-based league earlier this year and played a key role in leading his franchise to the title. Faheem Ashraf has also been impressive, claiming six wickets in three innings at an average of 10.33. Shadab Khan is another player who could pose a major threat to the opposition with his all-round ability.

Pakistan Green's recent form, depth in both departments, and previous win over Gold make them the side to watch in the final.

Pakistan Greens Predicted Playing XI:

Pakistan Gold Preview

Pakistan Gold enter the title clash on the back of a convincing victory in their final round-robin encounter. They needed a big win to boost their net run rate and move ahead of Pakistan Whites and Pakistan Blues in the standings. Gold defeated the Whites by five wickets, chasing down 173 runs with 22 overs to spare. Shaheen Shah Afridi was the standout bowler, claiming three wickets for 26 runs, while Haider Ali remained unbeaten on 69. Gold had previously lost their opening two matches.

Pakistan Gold will take on Pakistan Green in the final of the 2026 National Champions Cup. They suffered a heavy 128-run defeat against Green in their previous meeting, a result that significantly hurt their net run rate. Green posted 314 runs while batting first, before bowling Gold out for 186. Gold also lost their opening game against Pakistan Blues by six wickets.

Shamyl Hussain could be a player to watch in the final. He has scored 118 runs in three innings, including two half-centuries. We back him to score more than 25 runs in the upcoming contest. Kamran Ghulam has also made a valuable contribution, scoring 119 runs in three innings with a best of 63.

Shaheen Shah Afridi showed his best form with the ball in the last game. The captain has picked up six wickets in three matches so far and will be crucial to Gold's chances in the final. However, Gold could struggle with their lower-order batting and may also lack depth in their bowling options.

Pakistan Gold Predicted Playing XI:

Shaheen Shah Afridi (c), Abdul Samad, Abdul Subhan, Faisal Akram, Haider Ali, Kamran Ghulam, Maaz Sadaqat, Mohammad Nawaz, Muhammad Akhlaq (wk), Muhammad Imran, Saad Khan

PAK-GR vs PAK-GO Pitch Report

The surface at Multan Cricket Ground is good for batting. The surface will be tough to bat on during the 2nd innings under the lights. Spinners can take advantage in the middle overs. Pacers are likely to take assistance from the pitch with the new ball. In the last five matches at this ground, the average first batting score in the List-A is 249. It is a decent ODI batting surface where batsmen need to play sensibly.

Score prediction:

If Green bat first - 270-280 runs

If Gold bat first - 240-250 runs

Toss: To Bat

In the last five Men's List-A played at this venue, chasing sides have won two matches. The surface is pretty good to bat on. A 300-plus score is still not attainable on this track. 245 is the lowest total defended by a team in this competition. Both teams have enjoyed success while batting first in the past, so they are likely to prefer setting a target in this fixture as well.

Toss Prediction: Pakistan Green to win the coin toss.

Pakistan Green enter this contest as the favourites to win this match. They are a compact white-ball unit with a more improved bowling unit. They have won all three games convincingly. Green are likely to lift the trophy. Gold got a ticket to the finale just because they had a best outing in the last game. This is also a crucial match for both teams as both teams would eye to get a title victory.

Pakistan Green to win.
