Pakistan Women U19 Preview

Pakistan Women U19 head into this contest on the back off a 13 run loss against Bangladesh Women U19 in their third match of the tri series.  Opting to field first, Pakistan got off to a dream start with the ball, reducing Bangladesh to 4/2 inside two overs.

Rozina Akram led the attack with disciplined figures of 2/21, while Maham Nazakat provided vital breakthroughs to claim 2/22. Shahar Bano chipped in with 1/24, but Pakistan conceded a late unbroken partnership that allowed Bangladesh to post 139/5.

In response, openers Komal Khan (36) and Ravail Farhan (32) gave Pakistan the ideal platform with a brisk 69-run opening stand. Zoofishan Ayyaz added a solid 32, but a sudden middle-overs collapse stalled the chase as wickets tumbled in quick succession. Despite the strong start early on, Pakistan lost momentum at crucial stages and ultimately finished short on 126/7.

PAKU19-W vs SLU19-W Pitch Report

The surface at Iqbal Stadium has favoured the bowlers far more than the batters in the ongoing Women's U19 Tri-Series, with a team crossing the 130-run mark only once in the last 10 innings. Both Pakistan Women U19 and Sri Lanka Women U19 are yet to score past 130 runs in the series, and all the matches have been highly competitive, going right down to the wire. The average first-innings score hovers around the 115–125 mark, meaning anything above 130 is likely to be a winning total.

Toss: To Bowl

Teams bowling first won three of the five matches played in the ongoing Pakistan Women's Under-19s T20 Tri-Series at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad and Sri Lanka Women U19 won their last two matches while chasing and Pakistan Women U19's only win in the series also came while chasing. We predict the team that win's the toss will prefer to bowl first in this fixture.

Toss Prediction: Pakistan Women U19 to win the coin toss

Sri Lanka Women U19 enter this match as the favourites to win. They come in with high confidence after two straight close wins and are in great form. On the other hand, Pakistan Women U19 have looked shaky, especially in the field and during batting collapses. With better momentum on their side, Sri Lanka have the edge to keep their winning run going and make it three wins in a row.
