Babar will be looking to the great young Pakistan international Saim Ayub to back up his five half-centuries from the 2023 PSL and they may well open up together. Quetta Gladiators may not have the same batting depth as their opponents but there will be no complaints in their dressing room when they see Jason Roy accompanied by Will Smeed as the opening pair and Rilee Rossouw the captain coming in at three! All of that trio are match-winners on their day, although we haven't seen many of those 'days' for Rossouw of late. Sherfane Rutherford is not a bad middle order batter either, he comes into this game after making 67 not out in his last innings, a T20I against Australia!

And with the ball, the Gladiators are going to cause problems. Mohammad Wasim is a fantastic competitor, Mohammad Amir has a load of T20 wickets and Mohammad Hasnain will bowl with plenty of pace.
