Quetta Gladiators will be desperate to keep their playoff alive when they take on Peshawar Zalmi in the 19th match of 2021 PSL at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

The franchise will be hoping that the side can put in a disciplined performance with bat and ball against Peshawar Zalmi.

In the batting department, the onus will be the opening pair of Usman Khan and Faf du Plessis to get the side off to good start in the Powerplay overs. Besides openers, the likes of Jake Weatherald, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Azam Khan will have put in decent contributions with the bat.

In the previous game, Jake Weatherald showed excellent form with the  bat in his debut PSL game for Quetta Gladiators. Left-hander showcased composure and scored 43 runs off 35 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes. Due to crucial contributions from Weatherald and Azam, Quetta Gladiators posted 133 runs in their allotted 20 overs.
