The 2026 WPL final sees Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women clash with Delhi Capitals Women. RCB stormed through the group stage, finishing at the top, and head into the final as clear favorites. Delhi Capitals, despite inconsistency, have peaked at the right time with back-to-back strong performances to reach the final, giving them a confidence boost. The two teams have clashed twice this season, with each winning one game. On paper, RCB’s season-long form gives them the edge, but this final is anyone’s game.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women have made it to the finals after winning six of their eight league matches. They stumbled a bit with back-to-back losses but bounced right back, beating UP Warriroz by eight wickets in their last league game—a result that should give them plenty of momentum heading in.
Their batting has done most of the heavy lifting this campaign. Smriti Mandhana is leading the side and has scored 290 runs in eight games, going at a strike rate of 142. She's averaging 48.33 so far, and there's every reason to think she'll add another 30-plus score while keeping things moving at pace.
Grace Harris has been just as threatening, smashing 228 runs across eight games at a strike rate of 181. Those aggressive starts have taken pressure off the middle and lower order.
The batting order runs deep, making it tough for opposition bowlers to figure out their plans. Georgia Voll, Nadine de Klerk, and Richa Ghosh all have serious firepower in the final overs. All three can walk in late and do damage, clearing the ropes without much trouble. Richa has been especially dangerous—she's sitting third on the run-scorers list this season with 183 runs from seven games, hitting at 154.
With the ball, De Klerk has been excellent, taking 15 wickets at an economy of 7.25. Lauren Bell and Shreyanka Patil have contributed nicely too, picking up 23 wickets combined. Sayali Satghare has grabbed her opportunities, claiming eight wickets in five matches at 8.52 an over.
Tips:
* If Richa Ghosh stays at the crease in the final for over 15 balls, she will have a match-winning impact.
* Lauren Bell is expected to deliver an economical spell where she goes for less than 6.5 runs per over.
* Smriti Mandhana was the top-scorer for RCB in both their clashes against DC this season, with scores of 96 (61) and 38 (31).
Georgia Voll Total Runs Over 19.5 1.85
Georgia Voll hasn't had the best of season's so far where she managed to score just 91 runs in 5 matches, averaging 22.75. But against Delhi Capitals Women she scored 54 runs earlier in the season, in a must win game, we back Voll to step up and score over 19 runs.

Delhi Capitals Women made it through to the final with a seven-wicket win over Gujarat Giants Women in the Eliminator, knocking off 169 in only 15.4 overs. The campaign has been inconsistent for them, but that performance should give them something to build on heading into this match.
Lizelle Lee tops the run charts with 283 from nine innings, averaging 31.44 and striking at 142. Anything between 25 and 30 runs seems about right, given how she's been playing lately.
Laura Wolvaardt hasn't done badly either—273 runs in nine trips at a strike rate of 130.62. Jemimah Rodrigues has chipped in with 207 runs from the same number of appearances, going at 139.
Shafali Verma opens and gets after the bowling from the start, smashing 239 runs and doing most of her damage during the Powerplay. She attacks right away more often than not.
With the ball, Nandni Sharma has taken the most wickets—16 from nine games at an economy of 8.08. Shree Charani isn't far behind with 14 scalps at 7.85. Marizanne Kapp and Chinelle Henry have 22 dismissals combined, and both give the bowling unit some depth, no matter who they're up against.
Tips:
* Delhi Capitals have won all their games in WPL 2026 while chasing, which shows that if they get to bowl first in the final, their chances of winning will be very high.
*Laura Wolvaardt is in great form right now, with scores of 32* and 47 in her last two matches.
* Delhi Capitals’ highest score batting first this season is 166 against RCB, a game they eventually lost.

At Kotambi Stadium, batters who get set can accelerate scoring fast—the pitch offers consistent bounce, and the boundaries are shorter than at most traditional Indian venues. High scores are common here, and the surface tends to flatten out as the game progresses, giving chasing teams an advantage under lights.
Dew in the late evening usually makes batting easier, while bowlers struggle more to grip the ball in the final overs with the floodlights on.
Vadodara should see cooler, dry conditions that stay pleasant for the entire match, with no major weather issues expected overall.

During this WPL, Kotambi Stadium has seen first-innings scores averaging between 155 and 160. However, DC’s chase of 169 in just 15.4 overs during the Eliminator proves dew gives the chasing team a major edge at this venue. For the final, a total of 180-190 should be the minimum target—anything lower, and the team batting second will fancy their chances.
RCB-W to win the coin toss 1.90
We back the Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women to win the coin toss in today's final match against Delhi Capitals Women.
Toss-winning skippers in WPL 2026 have mostly opted to chase at Vadodara’s Kotambi Stadium. This game should see the same decision.
This final promises to be a tight battle. RCB Women have dominated throughout the season and already lifted the trophy once in 2024, so they'll be confident about winning another title given how well they're playing right now. Delhi Capitals Women, meanwhile, are appearing in their fourth consecutive final. They've fallen short in their last three attempts and haven't been the most reliable team this season, but they're heading into this decider after two strong victories, suggesting they're hitting form at just the right moment.
RCB look like the better side on paper and enter as favorites, particularly considering their performance across the entire tournament. That said, Delhi have successfully chased down every target they've been set this year, so if they get to bat second again, their chances of winning go up considerably.
Pick Royal Challengers Bengaluru as the winners of this final.
