Such is the nature of this ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub Regional Americas Qualifier B that Argentina and Suriname, two teams who locked horns only three days ago, do so again this Thursday evening in George Town.
When the teams met at the Jimmy Powell Oval on Monday, it was Argentina who came out on top of a low-scoring clash with 129/9 playing 114/8 as Surname collapsed from 73/3 in their chase.
Argentina have since thrashed Mexico by 62 runs and could still finish top of the group which would be no mean feat considering they lost by ten wickets with 66 balls remaining in match one!
As for Suriname, their first two defeats were by nine to 15 runs whereas they then had no answer to group leaders Cayman Islands who won by nine wickets on Wednesday.

After their narrow win over Suriname earlier in the week, Argentina enjoyed a much more comfortable victory against Mexico on Wednesday and confidence should be flowing through the side ahead of this clash on Thursday evening.
One player in particular who is in strong form is their skipper Pedro Baron at the top of the order who will be targeting a third half-century in a row following scores of 73 versus Suriname and 62 against Mexico.
Other batters in strong form are Alan Kirchsbaum and Tomas Rossi who struck 22 not out from eight balls against Mexico.
With the ball, the opening pair of Kirchsbaum and Hernan Fennell both took two wickets while keeping their economy rates down to between 4.00 and 4.33 on Wednesday.

It was another game to forget for Suriname who were thrashed by the Cayman Islands by nine wickets with 43 balls remaining on Wednesday to continue their losing streak in the competition.
However, they gave a much stronger account of their selves in their last clash against Argentina and Arun Gokoel will be hoping that his side play in that manner on Thursday evening.
None of the top four were able to make a score above four on Wednesday so we may well see Xaviee Smith promoted up the order after he finished unbeaten on 25 in the team's total of 92/7 against Cayman.
With the ball, only Yuvraj Paul Dayal comes into this game after picking up a wicket in the last match!

The forecast is for the weather to remain constant across this clash. Expect the temperature to be in the mid-high twenties with humidity levels above 70% throughout.
The Jimmy Powell Oval is a venue which gives the bowlers some assistance although the short boundaries are easily exploited by strong batters. Expect a par score to be in the region of 150.
Both teams have shown frailties with their batting across the tournament so we predict that the skippers will both want to bowl first should they win the toss ahead of the game.
