With the end of the group stage coming into view for most teams, this match sees Sydney Sixers, currently in third place but having played only seven fixtures, hosting Melbourne Stars Women.
The Stars are currently two points above the Sixers but have played one game more and this will be the first of their final two matches, both against Sydney sides!
As for Sydney Sixers Women, this game sees them begin a double header of fixtures against Melbourne sides before they complete their matches against Adelaide Strikers Women.
Both teams will still believe they can finish top of the ladder so there will be no let up.

Sydney Sixers Women will still be buzzing after their win in their last game - the Sydney derby where they saw off Thunder by a margin of six wickets with five balls remaining!
The win was setup by some smart bowling from the opening bowling pair of Lauren Cheatle and Maitlan Brown who both picked up two wickets each and had Thunder three wickets down before the end of the fourth over.
As ever, the Sixers have depth in their bowling attack with Ellyse Perry, Ashleigh Gardner and Amelia Kerr also part of a strong unit.
With the bat, expect the all-conquering top three of Sophia Dunkley, Perry and Alyssa Healy, who between them hit 154 of the team's 176 to be the main contributors once again.

After a long unbeaten and winning run, the wheels were always going to come off at some point and so it proved for Melbourne Stars who were bowled out for 98 when chasing a revised total of 180 against Hobart Hurricanes on Monday.
With a total of 98, there can be little doubt about what is required to improve ahead of this game and their very talented line-up will be looking to do a lot more than only three players making double figures!
The bowling attack is also strong with the experienced pair of Marizanne Kapp and Kim Garth sharing the new ball before the talented Sophie Day and Annabel Sutherland taking over.
There is more than enough talent in this team to bounce back immediately!

For this time of year, the weather is relatively mild in Sydney with the temperature likely to be at 20 degrees at the start of the game before dropping down to 17 or 18 by the end of the match.
The Drummoyne Oval is a pitch where the pace can be a little unpredictable at times. Expect the ball to turn and for a par score to be no higher than 135-140 on Wednesday.
Both teams chased in their last games but Sixers did it successfully whereas the Stars came unstuck. However, we still expect both sides to choose to bowl first once more in this contest.
