KCA Ruby Women lost their last match against KCA Emerald Women by seven runs in a tightly contested match where they failed to chase down 114 runs. Bowling first on a flattish track KCA Ruby Womens restricted the Emerald Womens to 113/6. 

Jayadharsini was the pick of the bowlers for Ruby Womens, she bowled four overs conceded only 19 runs and picked up two wickets. Nithya, Anusree and Asha managed to pick up one wicket each. It was clinical bowling performance from them in containing a strong batting lineup to under 120 runs. 

Chasing down 114 runs, the openers got them off to a flying start adding 37 runs in 2.5 overs for the first wicket. But what followed was a debacle as they lost complete momentum in the run-chase losing wickets at regular intervals and batters chewing up too many deliveries and not scoring runs.

KCA Sapphire Women defeated KCA Pearl Women by seven wickets in their last outing and went to the top of the table. It was a collective team effort set up by the bowlers early on, where bowling first, they contained the Pearl Women to 122/6.

Skipper Sajana Sajeevan was the standout bowler, picking up four wickets and conceding only 20 runs in her four overs. Sheethal was also spot on with her line and length, finishing with figures of 3-1-14-1. Ishitha Shani, with her leg-spin, controlled the run flow in the middle overs and managed to take one wicket.

Chasing 123 runs, Sapphire Women started slowly, scoring at less than six runs per over in the first four overs. However, they accelerated afterward and added 65 runs in 10.2 overs for the first wicket. 

S Malavika scored 23 of those 65 runs, while from the other end, S Ansu anchored the innings, remaining unbeaten on 62 runs off 50 balls. S Aleena scored 19 runs off 18 balls, and Sajana finished the game off in the end, scoring six runs.
