Thailand topped Group A in dominant fashion, by clinching three wins on the trot. Indonesia, meanwhile, impressed everyone by coming second in Group B and qualifying for the semis. Thailand Women Preview

Thailand Women have been ruthless in the SEA Games, finishing on top of Group A after two dominant wins. They have looked far stronger than the sides they faced and head into the knockouts as one of the favorites for the title clash.

The batting unit has been firing well. Nattakan Chantam has been the standout, piling up 184 runs in two innings at a strike rate of 222, including a superb century that shows her form. She looks well set to add another good 30-odd runs here.

Other batters have stepped up at the right time. Nannapat Koncharoenkai has been consistent, with 80 runs in two matches at 216.21. Nattaya Boochatham and skipper Naruemol Chaiwai have chipped in with handy runs too, and they will be counted on for at least 25 to 30 in this contest.

In the bowling attack, Sunida Chaturongrattana has been excellent, taking seven wickets at a superb economy of 3.16. Phannita Maya has backed her will with six scalps at just 1.57, while Suleeporn Laomi and Thipatcha Putthawong have chipped in with two wickets each. This attack looks well-balanced for the conditions and will not be easy to handle.

Indonesia Women Preview

Few expected Indonesia Women to reach this stage, but their run in the SEA Games has taken them to the semi-finals after securing second place in Group B. The task ahead is tougher, but they have already surprised many by getting this far.

Opener Maria Corazon has been the standout performer with the bat, collecting 90 runs in two matches at a lively strike rate of 148. A good start from her once again could tilt the contest their way. In the middle order, Emily Sirs has contributed 60 runs in two games, while Ni Luh Dewi has chipped in with 58 runs.

The bowling has looked steady throughout. Ni Wayan Sariani has been a main performer, picking up seven wickets while conceding at only 3.71 runs an over. Fatimah Albanjari and Sang Maypriani bring extra control, taking four wickets combined, giving Indonesia more than one option to rely on.

Weather Conditions

The Asian Institute of Technology Ground tends to help bowlers during the first session, and recent white-ball matches at this venue have produced lower first innings scores than what you'd typically see at major international grounds. The middle overs often become unpredictable for batters trying to find their flow, while the late afternoon heat can make it harder for bowlers to grip properly and for fielders to stay sharp.

The weather in Bangkok will be mostly sunny through the day.

THA-W vs INA-W Pitch Report

Past results show that first innings scores at the Asian Institute of Technology Ground average around the lower 90s in 20-over matches. Thailand Women, if they get the chance to bat first, will push towards 160 to 170. Indonesia Women, if given first use of the pitch, would be looking at a total closer to 120 to 130.

Toss: To Bowl

Four matches out of six at the Asian Institute of Technology Ground in this SEA Games were comfortably claimed by the team posting the total. In a high-pressure semi-final, both teams will probably opt to bat first for a stronger advantage.

Thailand Women have been a class above the rest in the SEA Games and have stormed into the semis. They are favorites for this knockout game and will look to secure a dominating win against Indonesia Women here to book their final spot. Indonesia have been impressive in this tournament, but it will take a lot to challenge Thailand, so an upset is highly unlikely.

Thailand Women are clear favorites to emerge victorious in this semi-final.
