Western Australia’s bowling unit struggled against Victoria in the 1st innings. They declared innings on 616 runs. Only Aaron Hardie managed to take 2 wickets for 87 runs. Queensland managed to take the lead of 231 runs in the 1st innings. 

In the 2nd innings, Mitchell Swepson picked up a 5-wicket haul for 113 runs and restricted opponents to just 256 runs to set up 26 runs as a target to win the game. Unfortunately, Queensland’s opening pair failed to chase down 26 runs from only 2 overs remaining on the last day, and the match went as a draw.

The team has superb depth in the bowling squad, having both pace and spin units on the mark. They need to continue momentum ahead in the upcoming game against Western Australia.
