They had started the tournament on a positive note, but back-to-back losses have derailed the campaign for Ben Duckett’s side. They batted poorly in the last game to go down by 6 wickets against the Oval Invincibles. Duckett would want to see a good show from his players here as that would improve their position on the points table. 

Tom Banton and Joshua Cobb are in poor form and the side would need them to put up a good opening wicket stand in this game. Duckett did well in the last game and needs to add runs in the middle with Glenn Phillips and Leus du Plooy. In James Neesham and Matthew Critchley, the side has good hitters, but they have failed in the last two games and must deliver here.  

David Payne and Matt Milnes were expensive in the last game, and they can’t afford this game the strong batting line-up that Trent Rockets have. Qais Ahmed has stood out with his tight bowling and the side would like to see another positive performance from him in this game. James Neesham, Ryan Higgins and Critchley must keep the scoring rate under check in this game.

Lewis Gregory’s side suffered its first loss of the season in the last game against the Birmingham Phoenix. It was poor efforts with the ball from the side as they lost the game by 6 wickets. They are currently sitting at the top of the points table and Gregory would like to maintain that lead with a win in this game. 

Alex Hales and D’Arcy Short have done well with the ball so far in the tournament and the side would look for a good start from them. Dawid Malan is in good form and solidifies the middle order with Samit Patel and Gregory. In Rashid Khan and Tom Moores, the side has good hitters of the ball and shall look to push up the scoring in this game. 

Their bowlers had a poor day at the office in the last game and good show would be expected from Samit Patel and Luke Wood with the new ball. Matthew Carter and Timm van der Gugten were expensive, and they have to play an important role here. Rashid Khan has looked good, and the side would like to see him take wickets in this game to win it.
