The weather in New Delhi is expected to be cloudy & windy on match day, with temperatures ranging from 13 to 21 degrees Celsius. Winds will blow from the southeast at 12-27 km/h. It is a balanced pitch. The track at Bulawayo provides an even battle between bat and ball. Early in the innings, the true bounce and fast outfield reward fluent stroke-making, allowing batters to score freely. As the game wears on, however, spinners come into play, making the latter stages more challenging for run-scoring.
The game will be played at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo, on 30th September from 12:45 pm onwards. The stadium has a capacity of 8000 spectators. The stadium has hosted 32 Tests, 97 ODIs, and 25 T20Is.
In 97 ODIs, the team bowling first has won on 51 occasions. The average first innings score is 233, 36 more than the average of the second innings. The team winning the toss should bowl first.
Though the UAE Women have started their WODI journey with a win, the Zimbabwe Women have shown their experience in the second game. They have a better batting attack than the UAE Women. The UAE Women rely heavily on their skipper, Esha Oza. They still have a lot to learn when it comes to playing ODIs. Zimbabwe’s Kelis Ndhlovu didn’t bowl in both games despite being the leading wicket-taker from the squad (19) with the lowest economy (3.57).
On current form, Zimbabwe Women carry a slight edge, but if the UAE can produce another all-round performance like the first ODI, an upset is very much on the cards.
We predict that Zimbabwe Women will win against the United Arab Emirates Women.
