In Round 2 against Dempo Goa, they once again controlled the ball with 59% possession but made it count this time, scoring twice to secure a 2–1 win despite Dempo registering more shots. 

Hugo Diaz and Antonio Moyano found the net in either half to seal the victory. Diaz was one of two changes introduced by coach Kibu Vicuña, alongside Halicharan Narzary, and the move paid off. With their first win now secured, the Harbour Boys can approach the rest of the competition with greater confidence.
