Tribhuvan University Ground, Kirtipur Pitch Report
The Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground has developed a reputation for producing high-scoring T20 matches, with teams consistently scoring at over 8.5 runs per over across recent seasons.
The venue often favours sides batting first, as overall records show a strong winning trend for teams setting a target, with 25 wins batting first compared to 18 when chasing. The average first-innings score generally falls in the 150–170 range, thanks to a fast outfield and reliable bounce that help batters play freely.
However, the ground is not entirely one-sided, bowlers who use cutters, slower balls, and hit the hard length can still pick up regular wickets, as seen from frequent dismissals across innings. Overall, the ground offers excellent batting conditions while still rewarding smart, disciplined bowling.
